Didn't do much today. Had Korean food as lunch and walked Mimi to Bold St. Thus went to Aldham Robarts Library to work instead. Seems like I have spent a few hours doing social updates. Facebook is a major distract. Gosh.

Well, at least I did kick-start the Gantt-chart.

Things done:
Kick-start Gantt-Chart

Day 1:Project Proposal

After a month being dispirited, I finally got back to Uni to kick start my dissertation. Well it is not easy to really get the momentum, but it is really a must.

I was in the Lab with Dennis, Balee and Jeff, and Ming was talking something about research. He said, when you are working in a research project, you will very often encounter a lot of disadvantages, and sometimes you do now know where to proceed. This is normal, and this is what all project has to go through, especially a research project.

What happen was we have an objective, and there is this raw data. There is a blackbox in between the raw data and the objective. A research's purpose is to find out what the blackbox is, investigate it and then find ways to implement it. If we know the way and we work that out for the project, that is not research already, that is just engineering and manufacturing.

Task done:
Project Proposal Layout

Task for tomorrow:
Project Proposal
Gantt Chart
Try to complete as much possible in a day.
Some reading on background studies.
